Many everyday alterations — like a hem or a simple take-in — can be done the same day, and often while you finish your shopping in town. Larger jobs and occasion wear take a little longer, so we'll always agree a collection time with you when you drop off.
No appointment is needed for most alterations and repairs — just pop in during opening hours. For wedding, prom and other occasion wear we'd recommend calling ahead so we can set aside time for a proper fitting.
The price list above covers our standard work. Items marked "from" and anything unusual are quoted once we've seen the garment, as fabric, lining and complexity all affect the work involved. We'll always confirm the price before we start.
Yes — there are bulk savings of £1 off each when you bring 5 or more jeans/trousers to shorten, or £2 off each for 10 or more.
Absolutely. We shorten leather trousers and jackets, change leather and biking zips, and take on other leather alterations priced individually. Bring the item in and we'll assess it for you.
Bring the garment itself, plus anything that affects the fit — for example the shoes you'll wear with trousers or a dress, and any belt or underlayers. That way we can pin everything exactly as you'll wear it.
